I am looking to get into my first AR platform. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just the bare bones, take to the range and keep for home defense. I have a very tight budget to spend on one, might can sling some trades in to sweeten up the deal on my end though.

I have a CCP and am versed in firearms, just haven't purchased an AR-15 up to this point.
