I'm just curious if any of you have fallen victim to the scammers in the gun market?
I got taken on Armslist by someone that went so far as to send my FFL dealer and me a fake FedEx tracking slip.
Do any of you have a success story of someone actually shipping what they promised?

hello greetings
I got booted off gunbroker for having the temerity of asking for a tracking number for a purchase. The seller reported me as “violating site rules”, and now my account is suspended indefinitely with no refund in sight.
You are a question.
I've been doing a lot of research myself and I'm learning that a lot of these scammers aren't even in the US. They're using computer-generated emails with computer-generated text lines. This is also why oftentimes their ads look like they're copied and pasted out of a gun broker ad or an arm's list ad. They're copying and pasting old ads that aren't up anymore and reposting them for their scams.

Might be the same one that got me... Right after I sent money he told me his son needed the money after a terrible auto collision. Users name was Chelsea Patton
Beware of the ads for better than usual prices. a PSL Romak, a PS 90 5.7 rifle and others being offered under various names, aka michaelmurrayc113m maxvalentia29, Max Valentia, Kenneth Spires. gave partial payment ....gone.
Scams are reported in Louisiana, Colorado, Nevada. This person is totally unscrupulous. He is still trying to convince me that he is trying to get money to treat his sick mother in the hospital after an accident, and oh by the way god bless.
Just a heads up I moved this thread to gun talk, instead of the sales forum.
