New to the area and looking for a good spot to shoot close to Colorado Springs. Anyone know of a spot, or a road or area I might find something? In Oregon where I was living there were several spots in the forest and on BLM land which were popular that had dirt mounds or hills to shoot into, etc. Not sure what the story is out here. Thanks.

Rampart range road outside of Woodland Park Colorado has some camping sites where you can shoot. Much of this area is only suitable for shotgun or pistol shooting but you can find a couple of gems there. The road is also clearly marked with signs regarding where you can and cannot shoot.
